About Korean Place ~ Yongpyong Resort Snowboarding Place

There're so many attractive places which you can travel in Korea during holidays. Now I'm gonna tell u about Yongpyong Resort as the best place to play ski in Korea.^^

For the moment, Yongpyong is the biggest ski and snowboard resort in Korea.

Unlike other resorts that tend to focus on certain levels and trends, Yongpyong is great for every kind of skier. Some 28 slopes -- spread across beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert levels -- offer terrific variety.

Among the various slopes, the Rainbow, Gold and Mega Green slopes are the most popular, and cover most of the three mountains overlooking the resort, which is about three hours' drive from Seoul.

Rainbow is the highest, at 1,210 meters, and it takes 20 minutes to get to the top where skiers can choose which course to take. With numerous intersections, this is without a doubt, one of the most fun slopes riders can experience in Korea. The Rainbow Paradise course is the longest course, at 5,600 meters.

If you are a beginner, however, the Mega Green (700 meters long) is the best choice.

As it is one of the widest slopes in Korea, beginners can worry less about crashing into other skiers. The slope is also relatively one of the easiest, as it is slanted at only 12 degrees.

What the resort makes up for skiing and snowboarding facilities and slopes, it lacks in other entertainment features. But there are great adventures to be had outside the resort, with the Daegywallyeong Sheep farm and also the Hanwoo (Korean beef) village nearby.

I choose this place because Yongpyong Resort is the must-visited place which has visited by my friends. Yongpyong Resort has been well known out of Korea, and be the best destination when you wanna spend your time in Korea. You could feel cold and your adrenaline runs up. Playing Snowboarding is really excited, right?

Have u felt that in South Korea, you couldn't just feel urban and enjoy the high modernization, but you could feel homesick of such rich traditional cultures that's conserved well. You could see the traditional houses in Jeonju Hanok Villages, that showed that Korea has so much attention to conserve their cultures in order we can watch it nowadays.

*What is Jeonju Hanok Village?

Jeonju Hanok Village has 700 traditional Korean houses, Hanok that are still home to residents today. Hanok Village is the best-preserved living traditional village. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Korea.

Jeonju also hosted the FIFA World Cup 2002, which saw grand scale refurbishments to many areas in Jeonju for World Cup visitors.

Many traditional and historic sites are excellently preserved in Jeonju such as Gyeonggi Palace, Jeondong Catholic Church, Pungnam-dong, Omokdae, Hyanggyo, Gwonhwon Fortress ruins, Namgo Fortress and many others historic sites.

There are also traditional culture learning centers such as art crafts exhibition halls, master products exhibition centers, Hanok Living Experience centers, traditional alcohol museum, Hanji centers, and herbal medicine experience centers.

People can also participate in learning about and making traditional art crafts such as Hapjukseon or Taegukseon (fans) along with trying out the traditional tea shops and restaurants. Jeonju offers visitors much to see, do and eat.

Historically, the neighboring area of Kyo-dong, Pungnam-dong and the urban Hanok are the living record of Korea’s modernization process and the transformation of housing since 1910.

Many scholars and civil organization demand the preservation and management of the area with important governmental authority to provide preservation, improvement and management under strict supervision.

Jeonju’s urban Hanok Village is the only place that so well preserves the old traditional streets, houses and structures from Korea’s past.

~~~~~~ Thank You ~~~~~
