This beach is located in the area Guryongpo-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. This beach is located about 24 kilometers away from Pohang and 1.5 kilometers from Guryongpo-eup. The beach is edged by a thick grove of pine trees on one side and provide a wide-open view of the beach towards the sea.
Cause of ramps from the ocean floor and clean sea water, beach Guryongpo become a favorite vacation spot for those who want to swim. This beach is also popular among fishermen, the number of fish in Yeongilman Bay.
